Our History

Meridian was formed in Beijing by a group of seasoned Silicon Valley technologists and executives in bigdata and artificial intelligence, co-founder of Meridian is a pioneer and the first mover in creating the comprehensive medical AI system platform consisting of Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. In particular, Meridian AI Medics is a global leader in TCM AI SaaS platform, empowering doctors and patients for Al-assisted TCM diagnostic and therapeutic services, with 31 million registered users in 202 countries covering all BRICS countries, including over 2,000 medical institutions providing primary care services in China.

A World Bank and Chinese Ministry of Health backed healthcare project in China using Meridian Al Medics was recognized by the World Health Organization as the “Al-enabled Barefoot Doctors of the 21st Century” and the "most cost-effective and time efficient on-job training improving the capabilities and service capacity of the healthcare practitioners.” Meridian AI Medics also comprises a PaaS Platform, which is an open Al developer platform capable of developing and automatically generating Al service modules with "zero-code programming” for any specific disease diagnosis and treatment methods for traditional medicine.

It enables traditional medicine doctors from BRICS countries to create their own Al service modules, safeguarding the cultural heritage, democratizing the health services for all and modernization of traditional medicine. Founder of Meridian received the Mulan Award of the First BRICS Women Innovation Contest in 2021. Fostering President Xi's call for "A Global Community of Health for All" BRICS WBA invited Meridian to partner with South Africa digital healthcare and population health companies, to form the strategic cooperation platform. Africa - China AI Medics Platform, and included it in the WBA's 2023 Annual Report, promoting the Africa-China cultural, medical and digital economic cooperation.
